Who is SHE!!!!

In the fetus, she is just a small hope,

As she grows inside, no one knows if for her birth there’s a scope.

If by any chance she comes into the world,

People will whisper, ohh..so sad!! It’s a girl we just heard.

She is not given the right to nurture herself with gentle love,

She is not allowed to be free like an immaculate dove.

She is not given a right to study, a right to hold a pencil,

Instead, she remains at home washing all the utensils.

She is not amongst the wanted persons in the house,

She lives in a silent corner like an unwanted mouse

She is not dumb, but still she cannot speak,

No one loves her, they just look at her with lusty eyes, when her youth is at the peak.

The eyes who tease her and chase her, has increased in number,

She gets afraid sometimes, while she is in slumber.

One day someone more powerful, more devil came to take away her virtue,

After this her life changed in the manner about which she has no clue.

The society took away one more right from her like her, i.e. right to live,

She left the world, but what the society did to her, she couldn’t forgive.

Do you want to know, who is she????

She is no one else, she is just another girl, like you and me….
